Does Garmin for the BB really exist. No one can seem to find the standalone software.

Telenav has released 4.7 for the 8700.

Another update to the GPS page to add screen shots of Google Maps. Also noticed that they use both TeleAtlas and NAVTEQ

Major update completed for my GPS Applications page. I have reviewed most of the major players. I predict Google will add GPS capabilities and that Garmin's new product will have an in route view which will compete with Telenav. Both use NAVTEQ as data sources so it's a GUI race between the two. I have added a comparison chart of exisitng apps.

Been trying out telenav and am pretty pleased with it. I have added it to my review of GPS on the BB.

I have begun to test out Wayfinder and Spot as GPS enhancements to my 8700. Both seem to be usefull. Wayfinder for driving directions and Spot for geocaching.
